Fort Asperen is located in the municipality of Geldermalsen, near the village of Asperen (A15, Geldermalsen exit).

By car:
The fort only has ten parking places. We therefore advise you to park your car in Asperen. You can also travel by train or car to Leerdam, from where you can cycle or walk to Fort Asperen.

From A2:
Leerdam/Everdingen exit, drive towards Leerdam. Once in Leerdam, continue over the railway and follow the bend to the left. Then go straight on and at the roundabout just outside town, turn right and then take the first road on the left. After around one and a half kilometres, you will drive over the lock at Asperen, after which you turn right to drive into Asperen (park here).

From A15:
Leerdam/Vuren exit, drive towards Leerdam. At the crossroads with Zuiderlingedijk (after around 4 km), follow the sign to Acquoy. Then continue straight on to the next crossroads and turn left to drive into Asperen (park here).

After parking in Asperen, it is a five minute walk to the fort.
